Symrise was formed in 2003 through the amalgamation of Dragoco and Haarman & Reimer.
It is now ranked fourth largest flavour company
in the world. Symrise has two divisions: flavours and fragrances.
With Hawkins Watts New Zealand’s sole focus on food ingredients,
we represent the flavour division of Symrise in New Zealand.
The
company’s HQ is in Holzmiden, Germany, but Hawkins Watts New Zealand communicates
daily with Symrise’s office in Sydney, receiving creative
support from the Sydney laboratory and drawing on the expertise
of some very talented flavourists and application technologists.
Hawkins Watts New Zealand provides the added benefit of an in-house
applications lab, which minimises turnaround times, and gives New
Zealand clients direct access to experienced technologists.
Symrise are exceptionally
proficient in beverage, sweet and savoury flavours, and Hawkins Watts New Zealand is always increasing our
