Amedeo Giovanni Srl, based in the very south of Italy, process a range of citrus fruits to produce the finest quality citrus essential oils. Founded in 1900 By Giovanni Amedeo, the business has continued through to the fourth generation of the Amedeo family.

To ensure the family’s strict quality standards are maintained, Amedeo Giovanni often purchase fruit while still on the tree.

At the factory the oil is extracted by “Pelatrice” (scrapping and washing of the citrus skin), “Sfumatrice” (extraction from the inner fruit) and “Distillato” (distillation of the wash water to extract the oil). Both the ‘Pelatrice’ and ‘Sfumatrice’ processes use only cold water extraction, yielding the best quality oils.
