Ruby-lee Walker | Customer Services
Ruby joins the Hawkins Watts New Zealand Customer
Service Team and will play a key role in ensuring that
Hawkins Watts customers always
receive a high quality customer experience. Ruby has previously
worked in similar roles for other organisations, and is half way
through a university degree. |

Judy Mains | Procurement and Logistics Manager
Judy is our Logistics Manager and oversees
shipping logistics, stock levels and supplier pricing
negotiations. She joined Hawkins Watts New Zealand in 2003. Previously,
Judy was employed for a number of years with Pfizer Group. |

Debbie Julian | Accounts and Finance
Debbie joined our team in 2004. She looks
after the accounting side of the company and is responsible
for foreign exchange dealings, accounts payable and
accounts receivable. Previously Debbie worked in finance
and debt collection. |

Natalie Statham | Purchasing & Logistics
Natalie is Hawkins Watts New Zealand’s longest
servicing employee, first joining us in 1996. She is
responsible for the placement of orders, shipping and
logistics for designated suppliers, as well as stock
management and operations. |

Felicity Ruiters | Purchasing & Logistics
Felicity is responsible for orders and logistics for designated suppliers.
She coordinates all incoming orders from the placement of the order with
our supply partners and oversees their transport through to our warehouse.
She also manages stocks and insurance claims. Felicity has been with Hawkins Watts New Zealand since 2004. |

Caine Mangakahia | Logistics,
Health & Safety
Caine
joined Hawkins Watts New Zealand in 2007, with over 13 years
experience in logistics and warehousing. He is currently
working on operations and warehousing projects, and
is our Health & Safety Co-ordinator. |

Scott Hawkins | General Manager
Scott returned to Hawkins Watts New Zealand
in 2009, after 5 years of experience gained working
for
a multi-national investment bank in London. Prior to
leaving for London, Scott worked in both law and corporate
taxation. Scott has a Bachelor of Commerce and Law,
as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from
the University of Otago.
Scott is responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the
business and will particularly be responsible for financial, legal and
administrative matters of the Hawkins Watts group. |

Alan Bulmer |
Strategic Sales Manager
Alan holds a B.Tech (Food Technology) and Dip. Business Studies (Marketing)
from Massey University and joined Hawkins Watts New Zealand in 2001. Alan has expertise
in most ingredient categories, especially hydrocolloids and is the key
contact for FMC BioPolymer (Carrageenan, Alginate, MCC), and our consolidated
Colour Portfolios. Alan’s role as Strategic Sales Manager is to coordinate
the proactive activities of our sales team. He is a professional member
of IFT and was made a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Food Science
and Technology (FNZIFST) in 2006. |

Stuart Jones |
Business Development Manager
Stuart joined
Hawkins Watts New Zealand in 2007 after 15
years working in FMCG manufacturing. He has
a thorough grounding
in manufacturing, research and development,
sales and marketing and supply chain logistics.
Stuart's specialty area is processed meat products
and he is a member of the FMC BioPolymer Asia-Pacific
meat team. Stuart is also responsible for our
supply partnerships with LBG Sicilia, Jost
Chemical, Lionel Hitchen and Emerald Performance
Materials. |

Sandra Murray |
Business Development Manager
Sandra holds
a B.HSc. (Food Science) from Otago University
and has worked in the food ingredients industry
for almost 20 years. Sandra is recognised as
one of New Zealand’s experts in dairy
applications, especially frozen desserts and
hydrocolloids. Sandra joined Hawkins Watts New Zealand in 2001 and manages our partnerships with
ADM Cocoa, FKO, Palsgaard and Herbstreith & Fox.
Sandra was made a Fellow of the New Zealand
Institute of Food Science and Technology (FNZIFST)
in 2009. |

Janet Donovan | Business Development Manager
Janet joined Hawkins Watts New Zealand in 2010 from
the starch industry, having previously worked in food
packaging. Janet holds a B.Tech (Food Technology) degree
from Massey University, as well as a Diploma in Business
Studies (Information Technology), and has vast experience
in starch & hydrocolloid applications. Janet is
responsible for the management of the Symrise flavour
range, as well as CNI (Gum Acacia) and ADM Xanthan. |

Graeme Nealie |
Business Development Manager
Graeme graduated
from AIT with a NZCS in chemistry and has over
35 years experience with food ingredients and
personal care products. He joined Hawkins Watts New Zealand in 2007 following the acquisition of the
food ingredient division of Robert Importers.
Graeme has a wealth of experience in the flavours
and aromatics area, having worked closely with
suppliers such as Lionel Hitchen (Essential
Oils) Ltd for many years. In addition to his
sales responsibilities, Graeme looks after
our repack facility. He is also a professional
member of NZIFST. |

Natasha Sabatier | Marketing Manager
Natasha joined Hawkins Watts New Zealand
in 2004 and managed the Symrise Flavour portfolio for
5 ½ years.
She is now responsible for Marketing for Hawkins Watts New Zealand. She holds a National Diploma in Food Technology
from South Africa and worked in R&D in South Africa,
and in technical sales in the United Kingdom before
moving to New Zealand. Natasha is a professional member
of NZIFST. |

Fiona Genders |
Senior Food Technologist, Quality and Technical Service
Fiona has a Bachelor of Technology (Food
Technology) degree from Massey University and has extensive
technical experience from a wide range of food industries.
She joined Hawkins Watts New Zealand in 2011 and is responsible
for product development and technical support from
our Auckland test kitchen. |

Valerie Wong |
Quality Assurance Manager, Quality and Technical
Service
Valerie has a Bachelor Of Technology (Food
Technology) degree from Massey university and joined
Hawkins Watts New Zealand in 2011. Valerie is responsible
for the management of our HACCP-based food safety program
and
answering enquiries from customers concerning Quality
or Technical issues. Prior to joining Hawkins Watts
New Zealand, Valerie worked in the baking, beverage
and ingredients areas. |

Eva Lee |
Documentation, Quality and Technical Service
Eva has a BSc in Food Technology and joined
Hawkins Watts New Zealand in 2007, in our quality and technical
support team. In 2011 Eva decided to return to University
and now works part-time for Hawkins Watts New Zealand, handling
product and quality documentation. |

Veronika Rajosova |
Commercial Projects Manager
Veronika was appointed to manage special projects for Hawkins Watts New
Zealand in 2010. She holds a PhD in Management and Economics with a focus
on Corporate Social Responsibility practices within the European Union
and Australasia. Veronika brings experience in Business Analysis and System
Design gained in a variety of corporate environments. Aside from managing
key commercial projects, she also generates and provides valuable business
analysis information to the management of the business. |

Peter Hawkins | Managing Director
Peter established Hawkins Watts New Zealand in November
1992, having previously been with Pfizer for 25 years.
Peter’s primary focus is HR, meeting customers
with the sales team and personal contact with major
supply partners.
In recognition of his services to the NZ Food Industry, Peter was made
a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology (FNZIFST)
in 2003. |

Paul Harrison | Food
Technologist
Paul has been with
Hawkins Watts New
Zealand since 1994. He holds a B.Technology degree
in Food Technology and is responsible for Quality and
Technical service across the Hawkins Watts group.
In recognition of his services to the NZ Food Industry,

a Fellow of the
New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology
(FNZIFST)
